Were your employees that worked from home able to take advantage of healthier eating habits and more exercise? Or did your team gain weight and increase alcohol consumption?
Healthy immunity starts with nutritious foods and exercise. Health and wellness tips regarding simple exercises at home and creative, healthy snacks are still relevant.
While some employees did capitalize on the ease of eating healthier at home, many were overwhelmed with staying productive while balancing family schedules.
In some locations, a large population of workers were still able to go to work every day. Unfortunately, their eating and workout options were significantly reduced for many months.
Now is a great time to refocus efforts on living healthy. Most medical professionals agree that sleep, fresh foods, exercise and stress reduction are linked to a better immune system.
Some wellness programs and messages took a back seat while you dealt with PTO, new rules and regulations and more employee support.
Now’s a great time to get back on message. From easy programs and light incentives to encouraging recipe sharing and even best places/deals to buy healthy food might be a good way to start.
How about a corporate cookbook? Make it digital with employee photos with their dishes. Maybe a contest for short cooking videos? Exercise videos could be fun, but you might run into content that isn’t shareable.
Have fun with it.
Let’s stay healthy!
