While the federal government recommends vaccinations for its employees, the task force President Biden established to provide federal agencies guidance on how to best keep their employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, recommends against mandatory employee “vaccinations.”
“The Safer Federal Workforce Task Force is led by the White House COVID-19 Response Team, the General Services Administration (GSA), and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).” The task force includes members from CDC, VA, FEMA, Secret Service, OMB and Federal Protective Service. https://www.saferfederalworkforce.gov/overview/
Mandatory “vaccines” did not make the cut for recommendations, and neither did requiring employees share their medical information with their federal employer. Great job, Task Force. Recommending a “vaccine,” but allowing employees freedom of choice is a great way to go!
